Bone Density Testing -
   Osteoporosis Screening - Oosteopenia, Postmenopausal,
   & Senile Osteoporosis Testing

We offer some of the best Osteoporosis Screening Programs available. If you represent a health fair or company interested in offering screening for your employees, call us to learn more.

Please, take a few minutes and review our programs we offer. We can assure you success.

Utilizing our programs performing Bone Mass Density testing screening for osteoporosis will increase your patient volume, renewing your old patients and potentially gain new patients. You can test 40 to 60 patients a day. More patients mean higher income revenues for you and your practice. As you know, treatments consist of supplement vitamins, diet, exercise and monitoring / consultations.

Osteoporosis and low bone mass are a major public health threat for an estimated 44 million US women and men aged 50 and older. The USPSTF recommends that all women 65 and older be screened for osteoporosis, as well as women 60 and older who are at risk.

We have a proven established program, equipment, and technicians. You can include one or all of the components needed for you to get started right away.

About Our Testing Equipment We Provide

The DTX-200 Osteometer assesses forearm bone density with optimized precision and accuracy. The DTX-200 will automatically identify the 8 mm distance between ulna and radius. The identification of this "anatomical landmark" ensures that the same area is assessed every time. The excellent in vivo accuracy (<3%) and in vivo precision (<1%) makes DTX-200 highly suitable for assessment of bone density and follow-up. By combining the results of the bone mass measurement and the bone loss estimation, it is possible to predict the future risk of developing osteoporosis in healthy postmenopausal women. This dynamic approach of predicting the future risk of osteoporosis is a unique feature and is not found in any other equipment on the market.

Dual energy x-ray is a radiological technique that measures bone density. Bone density measurements at the forearm are significantly correlated to measurements made at the spine and proximal femur. In some cases, measurement alterations in the spine are significantly affected by arthritic changes in the vertebrae. The presence of osteophytosis in the spine increases the bone mineral density. The DTX-200 can be used in clinics and offices without the required shielding or special rooms. The effective radiation dose to a patient's forearm is below 0.1 mSv.
